Eric Beare was born in Connecticut in 1978. He attended the Rhode Island School of Design where he majored in Illustration and received his BFA in 2000. Since then he’s been based in New York City working primarily as a decorative painter and muralist. His projects range from large scale residential murals and paintings on oversized canvases to more traditional illustration work, decorative crafts, and product design. Eric's clients include: Martha Stewart, Isaac Mizrahi, Diamond and Baratta Design and The American Musesum of Natural History. Eric’s illustration and artwork have been published in magazines including Food and Wine, House and Garden, Martha Stewart Living, and The New York Times Style Magazine.
Eric currently works out of his studio in Red Hook, Brooklyn. He is available to work around the world.
